"Cant you see that its just raining-
Ain't no need to go outside...-"
Woke up this morning to rain drops hitting my windowsill from outside pretty early.
I love waking up to rain, or the sound of water. (no that doesn't mean a sink or a toilet flushing, people)
We had a pond with a waterfall in the backyard at my old house, so we would crack the window before bed. Something about it is settling and just calming to me.
But back to this morning, so after I woke up I sat up in bed and flipped on the T.V.
"Waking up too early-
Maybe we can sleep in-"
Thats usually the time I think of what sounds good for breakfast. So I closed my eyes, put my head against the headboard of the bed and started thinking of what sounded good....
I was just listenIng to the rain more than thinking of breakfast.
Then a song came to mind.
Its a song that I usually think of when I make pancakes, specifically Banana pancakes.
The song is just as relaxing as the rain hitting the window, so I took it as a sign it was time for Pancakes.
And yes, the song is "Banana Pancakes" by Jack Johnson, which is what I keep quoting.
"Ill make you banana pancakes-
Pretend like its the weekend now.
And we could pretend it all the time-
Cant you see that its just raining-
Aint no need to go outside."

When life calls for banana pancakes, obviously chocolate chips are a necessity as well. Its the weekend people. Gotta live a little.
I also took advantage of the new Cellucor Chocolate Chip Cookiedough whey I just got this week! So these are just a little bit more then just Banana Pancakes. I would say more of a stack of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Banana Protein Pancakes!
Sorry Jack..... My apologies in advance for outdoing the strictly banana theme....

Thick, fluffy, chocolaty, and cookie doughy. couldn't have made these any better if i say so myself.
Obviously as I was making these I felt like listing/playing the song..... But like I said... I was up early, and I most likely would have woken the entire house up.

With that being said, it didn't stop me from humming the melody, and making a video afterwards to make up for the lack of Jack Johnson throughout the kitchen this morning.
And obviously I had to record it while I poured on the syrup....
It was only right.

The new Chocolate-chip Cookie Dough cellucor whey is so good....
like addicting good.
and its easily one of the things I'm going to be using a lottttttt in the future. It even has little cookie/chocolate chip pieces in the whey, to put it over the top.
Good thing they came out with a s'mores flavor whey too, So I can try out some other recipes with that flavor, so be on the lookout for more good stuff to come.
